Photos disappearing from HTC Desire HD Phone

Panic! It was there in Gallery yesterday, and now it's not!

Some searching revealed that photos are stored in sdcard/DCIM/100Media

Downloading an app from Market called SDRescan made it viewable on phone too.

Panic over.
